Residency

My housemate alyssa told me about a super easy way to get it official that i live in boulder. Instead of going through the post office or showing a utility bill, i can just get a state liscence. The dmv has more relaxed standards apparently so i just need mail addressed to me that has gone through the post. So today i bought a january unlimited bus pass and am working my way to the dmv.

A library card will be mine soon!

Still alive

So, looks like this old thing is still floating around and is due for more brain spew. Let's do a quick life update first. I am Martin. I live in Boulder, CO. I am twenty-three. Okay, that was easy.

High prices

Here I am at what used to be the village white rock. Now it sells two dollar eight ounce cups of a single daily blend. It feels empty and dim.

Here I also am, trying to blog again because I'm kinda bored. Schools out, it's still warm enough to work up a sweat biking around, and I don't have a job. I also got a new phone (sad, I know) that has a blogger app. It also has a lot different than my pre, so why not give it the ropes.

The coffee isn't even out of this world good. It has more subtle flavors, sure, but the experience doesn't make it anything more than a cup of coffee.

I need to focus

I'm trying to do too many things at once, I need to modularize myself.

I want to learn javascript to write a couple apps for my phone. I also want to learn C so I can use openGL for my phone. I also want to write a data harvester using the last.fm API. I also want to write the backend to what what I will feed said data into.
I also want to do them all at the same time.

I need my own project manager.

Music is like an Ogre, it has layers

Today I've been listening to a lot of music two songs at a time. I haven't meant to, it just happens. Right now I have the new Menomena album playing with its rocking drums and sax and guitar and the great voice and in the background a man is playing jazz piano and it blends somehow with brilliance. While the pianist jumps around, there is a screeching guitar and it just feels as if they know of the other's presence. Earlier it was a deadmau5 song and yeasayer. Each song filled in the other's missing parts.

What happens when I gorfet a pen...

I went to dunns to get coffee and read and hangout cause I don't usually get outta the house much these days. I went to half price first and couldn't find any of the books I'm looking for sadly. So I'm here with a few books that I haven't been able to get into. I wanted to write but I forgot to bring a pencil or pen. I think I haven't been able to keep a writing utensil in my bag for a long time cause I'm always wanting one. It's funny how I want to read when I don't have a book, write when I don't have a pen, play music when I don't have a guitar, and listen to music when I don't have the CD.

My computer in morris that hosts my newr blog is down or the internet died or something so I can't post to that. Just letting you know why I'm writing here.
